I have heard that Endli, senegals and I think delhzi are being bred in captivity.

Can anyone shed some light on this? And has anyone been able to bree any kind of poly in home aquarium?

Aside from that my real question is with breeding Ornates. Any info helps thanks.

Yes its been done, we have one here in Sweden who managed to get 3 surviving ornates out of a breeding group of 11. Almost every bichir species have been bred in captivity.

Read the stickies here, there are some good info on how to trigger them. But it wont be easy to breed them. Try to have the parameters they want, maybe change temperature sometime to simulate rain season.

You can you tube ornates breeding. I am pretty sure my pair of 16" ornates were going to breed until I added in tons more bichirs to the tank.
