If so, any tips? I have a few ideas for different kinds of books. My first project I think will be a childrens' book. I'm curious about other people's experience in the matter. Feedback would be appreciated

pop up books,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,jk,anyways,I think I made a thread about this myself back in the day.Ill see if I can find it, I write stuff down every day and would have loved to do stand up in a theater maybe robin williams style or you know just more of a production. However, I would love to just get all my insane and idiotic random thoughts and stories weather true or made up,into a book. I bought a book on how to write a book lol. They have alot of good info. I think your doing the right thing though by asking here and any other places you can reach out to a large group of ppl, I hope someone with this knowledge will chime in for you,as I will listen.

well i have the first draft completed for a short children's book. i want to refine it a bit before I hand it over to the publisher I am submitting it to. I want to see how my son likes the story first, then maybe I would let others read it. Its more like a story that needs cool illustrations to go with it for ages 3-6ish, but if my son likes it without the pictures, it will only enhance the story with them.
