Anyone ever see the effect different types of music have on fish?

I started to notice my fish acting differently when certain genres were played, dub step would agitate (unless it was a really laid back classic wobble not the skrillex type stuff, that would make them chill out), folk dance stuff gets my red wolf more active, and interactive.

Animals are effected by sound and you know you can hear music from underwater, I'm not trying to give the fish human traits but I just feel like the intensity of the music effects there mood, positively and negatively, my mollies and red wolf most of all

when they're frightening, they do that to get ready to defense themselves from larger enemies!

plants have responses to music so why wouldn't fish?

exactly, calm music chills them out and intense music makes em stressed, that's all I was saying really. its my red wolf more then anything probably because he is so interactive. I was expecting jokes because it is a funny thing lol.

a vid of fish moving to a beat would be funny.
but seriously I'm a firm believer that music can affect living things. such as classical having positive and crappy music, negative impact.

Never noticed a difference of any type of fish behavior to any style of music I have ever played and any volume.

None of my fish have ever been exposed to Rap or Country "Music"!

Not sure if the cannibal corpse post was serious or not, but I see nothing whatsoever similar in any of my many takes to Savatage, Slayer, Pantera or Sanctuary.

My Dovi and Jag would fight to Beethoven, Mozart, and the Grateful Dead as readily as they would to heavy metal. Same with my Butti Tilapia and Venezuela Pike.

I do keep very different fish then you ^ as I've said its mainly with my red wolf, he just goes and hides when intense music is on and tries to interact when chill music is on. I'm usually listening to either punk, metal, dubstep, reggae, or folk (like mumford and sons etc.)
