Anyone Ever Use.....

i just got home with my 90 gallon. im still debating on what substrate to get. i dont really want to spend an extra 100 bucks on substrate but who knows....has anyone ever used this product? does it look good and how much would i need for a 90 gallon? thanks

I have some large stone like that in my tank. Although they don't completely cover the bottom. They look good and for the most part the fish can't move them unless they are good size fish.
What if you did a bare bottom and use the large stone as an accent. Then you wouldn't have to buy all the rocks to cover the bottom.

I found the same stones at a landscaping supply outlet at 3lbs for $1. Slightly smaller Oregon river stones were 5lbs for $1.

i have some all purpose gravel that i got a home depot. but it does say warning contains crystal silica or something a long the lines.. (i just noticed that and i did use it in my otha tanks with no problems)
