Pretty sure it isn't. I wouldn't risk it, I would just go with GE type I or one of the aquarium silicones.

Type II always had the bio-seal I thought. I thought that was the difference, that it had been added. It is 100% silicone according to the label right?

I Emailed GE about it so its now a waiting game.

Nope, some did and some didn't. I used it several times sucessfully. (type II w/o antimicrobial additive). Only use type I or GE 1200 (Double the cost but if your building a tank... worth it) if I can find it.

Ive used it, no problems, theres two of them, one sticks better to vynil and plastic type stuff. You can actually use any of the clear, as long as they are not "mildew resistant", so you can use any clear silocone that is NOT for bathrooms. The bathroom stuff has a chemical in it to kill mildew. Ive used a few different brands of clear door and window and had no problems
