anyone ever used microbe lift???

hi i was just wondering if anyone has ever used microbe lift immediate cycling? I just added to my tank yesterday and it seems to be working pretty good, already getting ammonia readings. i was just wondering if it compared biospira because i heard that was really good stuff but my lfs doesnt carry it. Thanks.

you will get ammonia readings regardless of adding these products. the bacteria is not what makes ammonia readings. your fish respiration and waste make ammonia the bacteria turns that into nitrite and then more bacteria turns nitrite into nitrate.

i know, i was just wondering if this made the cycle go faster. i only have 1 3 inch piranha in a 55 gallon tank. I'm trying to get it cycled safe and fast.
