anyone ever heard of a pinkheaded or pink bellied snapping turtle...if so post a pic and some info possibly price...i think someone is lying i cant find crap on a pink headed alligator snapping turtle...

Never head of it. I know there is some species of tropical snapping turtle from Central America related to the ones we have here in the US. The only other kinds of True snapping turtles are the Common, Alligator & Florida.

i have heard of tropical one...

with a pink head though...have we all just heard of one cause i wont believe that till i see it...:D

could it be a mata mata?

i have no idea but im going to ask to see it and take a pic so you guys can judge what type it is and if it worth the money...hopefully i can see it with in the next few days.

pink bellied snapping turtle does exist.. might just be a variant on regular snapping turtle..

price around 90.00 for one..

Whatever that is, it's no true snapper. Look how short it's tail is. Baby snappers tails are about as long as their shells. But anyways thats a cool looking turtle.

Interesting...but none of those are related to our U.S snappers of the genera Chelydra and Macrochelys, which is what I think most people first thought of when they first saw this thread.
