Anyone every try this to break off live??

Well everyone here knows wild kels are a pain to break off live so for the last week or so I started to take my feeders and shake and bake them in massivore pellets that I crush up into a fine powder. I let the feeders semi dry with the powder of massivore and then feed it to them but I wait till the bass are just waiting for the food to hit the water and feed one at a time. Now by doing this the bass get the taste of the massivore pellets. Well today 2 of my live eaters started taking pellets. Great site to see!

A lot of us use a similar method with blood worms and it works great if they will hit the pellets. The problem is that if they won't even hit the pellets, they can't taste the massivore. I have a kel that only hits live, won't even move to pellets or blood worms or silver sides.

I just tried this and made a huge mess of my tank lol. I dont know my kel will just have to keep eating frozen fish I guess. She went a whole week without eating once. Mouthed the pellets but that's it

Yeah That's why I wait till they are all waiting at the front of the tank and feed one at a time. Everyone of mine will hit a feeder crusted over with the dust. I throw them in right in front of there face when I do this.
