anyone fish the delaware?

Just wondering if anyone on here fishes the delaware?....Im also wondering if anyone has tips for fishing the delaware in the late season. I fish just south of philadelphia in chester.

Oh my! I used to work in Chester and we used to , uh, recap the shifts events over refreshments right on the Delaware. The only things ive seen come out of that river were not natural inhabitants to any body of water!

haha....i fish there a lot but havent been there for a couple weeks since the colder water came in. It is a great place to fish besides the area it is in. Huge catfish have been biting lately and the striper bite has slowed down a lot. Then again i would never want to eat anything out of there............I caught this in chester over the summer lol

Im not big on the river but I've had some good smallmouth fishing days in the past. I only fished the river three times this year. You stand a better chance of catching LMB,SMB, amd CP's out of the D&R canal this time of the year. Thats just my opinion!!

Sorry for the smart ass comments - Ive seen a lot of items pulled from there like in the 1st pic. There are a lot of nice tributaries around that a lot of fellas have good luck fishing from. Happy fishing!

lol no but seriously i have caught everything but fish from the delaware including that .38.....I wish i could fish in jersey to get my first CP

Just cross the bridge and hit me up. I can show you some very good spots for CP at both canals. The PA side is coming back finally they finished the flood repairs from 07. The Jersey side is always good for some smallies, LMB, and CP's!!
