I have seen the rtc x tsn, this fish has the head of the rtc, not the tsn. Any ideas?

No hot linking permitted here at work. If you send it to me at my work email I'll try. I have seen and have pics of about 10 different pimelodid hybrids. clifford.kinsman@malmstrom.af.mil

kinda ticks me off that I can't view hot linked pics here at work.

Looks like a marmoratus crossed with a RTC maybe.

The fish in question is a rtc x L. longibarbus(formerly marmoratus) I have some pics of adults, and juveniles on the hybrid catfish thread in here somewhere.

Really nice hybrid. L. longibarbus would be my guess as well but Ive never seen a hybrid have the exact body as a RTC with differnt color pattern, Hey necrocanis will the body change to look more like the one you had? I only saw the pics of your adult.

my catfish is a rtc x tsn hybrid. I just have pics of the other hybrid. Checkout page 5 of the hybrid catfish thread. Their bodies get really bulky as they grow from what I can tell. Never heard from anyone yet on keeping this fish. The pics appear to be at a hatchery, or something similar. They have a pic of it at 1ft. and again when larger my guess is 2ft or bigger. They keep the spots, and their tails turn a dark reddish color with tons of spots. Only one way to tell for sure and that's raise one myself ;)
