Thinking about relocating.

Wondering what its like there.

Cost of living, personal experiences. :)

I love here, we do have real winters though. PM 6bar, he could give you a good desciption of what it's like relocating to the Denver area from SD.

well. I grew up in Syracuse NY. So I am very familiar with the different weather conditions.

But as far as everything else about CO and the Denver area, I dont know.

I'm not really sure my exact question. Really just looking for the general feel.
Is it family friendly.
That stuff

Actually I think the winters are probably mild when compared to NY. There are good areas and bad areas as with any City. I grew up in the suburbs and have also raised my family here, so I would say yes to family friendly.

Mountains are beautiful and very close(Golden backs right up to them) there is alot of outdoorsman type stuff to do all seasons.

cool. Thanks for the info.

Sounds like a great place. Especially if the winters are mild compared to Syracuse. Of course, most places are except maybe Minnesota and Russia. LOL

Hi Ang,

I moved to Denver nearly 4 years ago. I currently live in Lakewood, but I did live at the border of Golden.

Cost of living is significantly lower here in Denver. You'll see it in gas prices. For instance I pay $2.28 for gas.

It's a family friendly city, but it can't beat the 70 degree weather year round and the beach. Don't get me wrong, I'm blessed to live in Denver. I'm glad I'm not under the reign of the Terminator anymore. pm me if you have any more specific questions.

I'll tell you though, Golden is a nice small historic town if you like that kind of thing.

yeah, for sure winters are mild in this area compared to where you're originally from. I'm from Harrisburg, PA and winters were much worse there than on the front range.

I hate snow unless it's in the mountains, though, so I'll trade you locations :D

lol

San Diego is awsome ... right now. But in a few months, we dont have A/C and it will again be 95 degrees inside our house and I will be placing Frozen liter bottles in my fish tank again.

I'm soooo not looking foward to that.

I'll take a year long high of 87 anytime. :)

Thanks for the info guys :)
