Anyone Get Azul to Breed Yet?

Just curious as to if there is anyone out there who has azuls to breeding size and has actually produced fry.

I heard on one lady on another forum that had 8+ of them in a 265 but she started fall09 so I don't think they are big enough to do it although that is her plan. I inquired and I heard nothing back. I have 4 and will try if any pair off. I would post that result.

In an older thread there was a guy from Florida who had some big breeders in a pond. He and Michael, who sold his fish were the only folks with big azuls.

thats missmasspoly i have one of her azuls and its about 8" i think her biggest is a foot

Ok, next question then. Who has Azuls for sale or any leads on sources?

Interesting, but sad article on C. piquiti. Sad because of the hundreds of azuls killed in the name of scientific research.
