The Lone Star State!
Hello, everyone! Being new to central Texas I was delighted to find out the ACA Convention is in Fort Worth this year. Are any of you going to be in attendance? I've been in the hobby about thirty years, having started when I was still in elementary school (you do the math.) I currently have two 55 g, one 40g, one 26g, and two 10g, none of them big by YOUR standards, but I dare to dream. My current set-ups include a heavily planted tank with barbs and tetras (and a baby tire track eel who tries to eat them), a convict tank, a baby convict tank (of course), and my daughter's own tank with her Angel Fish, "Queenie." I'm hoping to pick up some African Cichlids at the convention auction to start up my newest set-up. I also had a 1200g koi pond when I used to live in Washington state, but haven't yet started a project like that here in Texas. I look forward to hearing from some of you, and maybe even meeting you at the convention!

:newbie:

unfortunately Texas is wide, and El Paso isn't even considered part of Texas from what I hear :P That, and the fact that I'm just a broke lil student, ensures I won't be going :\

glad you found this site. how so?

too bad its not on the west coast...

wish I could.
