I didn't say I was going to be volunteering for any duties. I'll be too busy trying to meet all the members from the online fish forums.

The ACA website states:

Registration is now available online. By ACA policy, all registrants for the convention must be a current member of either the American Cichlid Association (ACA) or the Sacramento Aquarium Society (SAS) at the time of the convention.

Although I'm not an ACA member, I am a SAS member, so that's how I'm getting in. I've never attended an ACA convention, so I was surprised that admission was not open to the public.

I think only certain parts are not open to the public (the good stuff though). I went last year and walked through and met a lot of people and I didn't sign up for anything. I am going to join the ACA though and that way I will be able to sit and hear all the speakers and all that good stuff.

I am planning on going to the ACA this year. It will be a good excuse to get out of IN for a while and look at some cool fish. I just have to figure out how to get fish home. Can I bring them on a plane? Oh welll, I'll figure that out when the time comes.

You ARE NOT allowed to take fish because of the 1 once liquid. Fish would have to be shipped home. I thought about driving but that a loooooong way.

Damn! I forgot about that. Yeah, that would be a long drive. So, what would you do? It would be nice if we could ship from the airport you are departing from to the airport you are arriving at, but that sounds to simple to actually happen that way. I need to figure this out.

I could ship it airport to airport but you would have to drive to Indy to pick up your fish.
