I have always been fascinated with Synodontis angelicus (also known as Polka-dot Synodontis)? I have yet to find anyone selling these or owning one. Does anyone have this guy, and if so where did u get it?

I've had them for many years. I currently own 3 that are all over 20 years old bought in Ontario Canada.

I did buy 10 babies that are 3/4" to 1" long for $10 each at The Fish Place in North Tonawanda NY in August. I was there again in September and they had received another load in. They are tank bred by someone in NY. I don't know if they ship but they might because they do have a wholesale division that must ship fish.

The manager's name in the retail division is Jake Mol 716-693-4411.

If for any reason they are sold out you might also try Pets Plus in Lockport NY

Fred and John are the Owners 716-433-0460 They might ship and should be the same price range for babies.

Good luck

Try checking with Tony Orso (tonyorsousa@aol.com) sorry no website that i know of. I dont know if he deals with public but he does carry and breed some cool stuff, the store I worked at dealt with him alot. Also try to find him thru PVAS, NJAS, ect..... Good luck.

Thanks, I will give them a call. I was hoping someone in Socal had some or knew where they were selling.

i have synodontis petricola, only 2 left now though. i used to see them often at Exotic fish of the world here in Moreno Valley. saw them somewhere else not to very long ago too.. mighta been fish fantasy in Riverside.

Exotic fish of the world is gone.. the space is empty now. but i was at fish fantasy the other day, they seem to be going strong.

what about that nice little place over there on Sierra Ave by the Albertson's? are they still there? they used to have a great selection.

I currently have 2 in a 125 gallon tank. One has white spots and the other has yellow spots. Both are about 5"

nice...did not know it came in yellow spots? Was it always yellow or did it turn yellow after awhile?
