I want to see the pictures of someone's tanks that has only blood parrots in. I was thinking about have a parrot community tank in future as i already got two Blood parrots, one is 6 years 7" old male and the new one was fairly younger as its still a 2 incher, they are currently living in a 120gal with a Kenyi cichlid with deformed jaw and I was thinking about add more parrots to this tank?

Allright, I was thinking about throw a Kirin parrot in the mix. What other types of parrots that could work out in the parrot community?

Tiger stripes parrots? Never seen them before.

What about add a super red severum to the mix, would it get along with the parrots?

i have several parrots in my also a gt and a rt. the longer i have had them the more i love them. i watch them for hours sumtimes. they love to eat peas out of my hand. Also yes i have one of the tailless ones and i dont support or appreciate what cruel things people do to them...but this lady had him in a 1 gallon goldfish bowl and the water was so dirty i could barley see him so i confiscated him and he is now part of the gang

the tailless variety are an excellent addition as well. I have a few heart shaped parrots in my parrot community tank and they are very healthy and swim as well as any fish. It is no different than clipping the ears or bobbing the tail of a dog.
I have also found that for some reason parrots are one of the only fish that flowerhorns will tolerate. I've kept parrots with nearly full grown male flowerhorns and am currently housing several parrots with a titanium. The only problem that ever arrises is the possibility of food competition so keep the parrot population on the heavy side if possible. Schools of clown loaches work well with them too.
