Anyone have a 3d background?

Thinking for my new 125 gallon I want to do something different then just the plain black background. I'm looking at these rock 3d backgrounds but had a question for those that have used them or are using them.

How does the filter intake and heater sit with those on? They look amazing and I wouldn't mind dropping the cash on them if they didn't make it so my heater had to sit funny or my canister filter take was funky.

most are custom made by the people that have them. They use styro foam and cement. And you can make your heater and intake where ever you want them. do some searches

I have done some searches, found tons of articles on how to make one yourself or where to buy them.

Haven't found much on how they effect the placement of the filter intake or heater.

I attempted one a couple months ago, but failed miserably. You could probably find my story somewhere on this site. This is the best article I found when I was doing my research: http://www.aquariumlife.net/projects/diy-decoration/17.asp. But instead of using regular cement use the type of cement called Thorite. I heard it doesn't raise pH and if you have the $$ use fiberglass too. gl.
