Anyone have a DIY tank divider?

I need to put a divider in my 125 gallon. Need to keep my stingray, silver aro, and cichla monoculus from eating my baby cichla occelaris, and cichla temensis.

I can't find anything for sale that does the correct dimensions.

Any ideas?

Buy some plastic egg crate and cut to size

Eggcrate has pretty sharp edges on it =O

Would think it could tear up the bottom of my stingray if he rubbed against it.

Think I'll have my friend at the sign shop cut me a piece of acrylic to size, then I'll drill a bunch of holes it.

Will post tomorrow if I get the acrylic

if you run alighter over the edges it smooths them out.

If it doesn't have to be clear you could save yourself alot of time drilling and use plastic pegboard.
