I'm looking for a 32-42" Sharp Aquos LCD TV and want to know the best places to pick one up for cheap, whether online or in person. Anyone got the hookup?

Wish I knew...other than waiting a little while they're probably expensive everywhere. My dad has a 46" Samsung 1080p and it's sex...on the other hand. I have a 19" tv that is probably 15 years old...incentive to graduate huh?

HAHA I've always bought TV's from PC Richards but now that I'm buying this TV, I'm going to bargain hunt a little bit. I'm in no rush. I'm actually banking on Black Friday to pull through.

I'm in the same boat as you. I hate dealing with "Black Friday", but you can get some pretty sweet deals. I just got my bonus and now I'm in the market for a 50 or a 52 inch...just looking for the best deal. :D

Been doing the research on a new TV too. Im actually waiting for Black Friday myself to buy a 42" flat plasma.

Right before the day I plan on asking around on who is selling what, from there I will plan where I shop.

Thus far without any sale Costco seems to have the best deals around.

In the whole LCD vs plasma debate, where do you guys stand? I'd like to get a 42" for around $1000 ideally.

Just read an article on this very subject. BOTH will last about 10 years.

Most important thing to look at is contrast ratio, which is usually listed among all the info given on the sales tag in the store.
