I've recently redone my 150 gallon setup to focus on my plecos and SA cichlids (thought I do have some CA rainbow cichlids).

About a month ago I added some winemilleri and caqueta. Both are growing nicely and getting much more colorful but the caqueta are really gorgeous. Tons of color and iridescence that outdoes my Heckelii that're twice their size.

I've looked these guys up online and have seen some pictures of very small ones as well as a couple larger but nothing looks close to mine in terms of color.

Does anyone here have any adults? I'd love to see pictures of how yours are looking. Such a gorgeous fish, it's a pity there's so little information out there on them.

This year was the first time I’d ever seen them on lists, at least in North America, so I’m not sure many people would have adult pictures or know much about them. I’d like to see some if you’d like to post. I considered getting a group but went with a couple different species instead.

Sure, I'll be happy to take dune pictures of they sit still.
Have them in with tapajos, winemilleri, two heckelii and two balzani.
In my opinion they're by far the nicest looking and still small.

Here are a couple more from this morning when I fed them. These kind of show off some of the iridescence they display (still not doing them justice). In the right lighting these guys are gorgeous. Deep blue/green faces, yellow bellies with orange anal fins, bright reddish/purple tails and tons of great iridescence throughout the flanks.
Can't wait to see what they grow into. My largest of the Caqueta is only roughly 2.5".

If anyone else has these, I'd love to see theirs!

They are beautiful! How peaceful are they? I'm trying to decide between them and the redhead Tapajos. Would harlequin rasboras be safe with either of them?

If it fits in their mouth high chance they will get eaten. I bought 50 cardinal tetras one time with my geo sveni. And next morning the geo ate them all. Harlequin are bigger so maybe it will work better.
