Anyone have an Eheim 2250??

I am looking at getting a cheap 2250 and want to know if they can be modified like the 2260 and can be fitted out with a bigger pump, a la 2262??

Yes, but for what the bigger pumps cost (1260 and 1262), it could work out cheaper just getting the 2260 or 2262 from the start.

More easily get a 2260 or 2262, and pay the pump and another acessories that get on 2262, like the Tankbuster told.....

Yes it can, I already had the 2250, came into a cheap 1262 that I moved to my 2260, and moved the 1260 to the 2250.
