By that i mean fish that shouldn't or usually do not work well together or in the same water conditions?

Right now in my 55g I have a 4" nic, 3" geo's, with 2 african peacocks.

In addition i have an L200 and Syno (S. Ocellifer) in there as well.

My tap water is about 7.4 and hard to begin with which is at the top end of the SA's range and the low end of the Africans.

Everyone seems to be getting along just fine, eating well, growing, with good colors.

I do a 20% water change too so that prob helps.

Anyone else have a mix that is unconventional?

My 8in aro and my 2in leopard puffer its really weird theyre like best friends and they follow eachother everywhere its very odd

I have couple of haps and a frontosa in a Neotropical cichlid tank, which is something most don't recommend

we have a tiny mbuna baby and a blue acara about 1" big in my platy/ community tank. Both were put by accident really and they seem to be fine for now. no nips or deaths. Were just waiting for them to be big enough to play with the big boys. :)

i have
2 jewels
2 texas
3 jd/con cross
2 cons
2 plecs
and a dragon goby
and about 300-400 texas fry
