anyone have any exp.w/ oscars tankmate...a clown knife?

well i'm putting 2gether a 300gal tank...it will contain a 1 1/2yr old oscar 8"
it will have caves and hiding spot...
i know knives r noctural and grow 2 about 3'...other then that i don't know much more then that{and 1 per tank just as an oscar}

so has any1 else tried this pairing?
if so lmk what i should expect.thx
 
Works 99% of the time. However, I am the 1%. I took in a clown knife that does not back down to a breeding Oscar. Once, he passed by the Oscar and the Oscar shoo him away. He did not retreat, he moved forward and the Oscar slashed him. Feeling pain, he wiggled more and hurt himself more in the process. This happened thrice and since then we tagged him as suicidal. He was 18" at the time and the Oscar is 11". Had to give the CKF away as I found a 19" bronze one. The one I have now and the Oscars are doing well. Yours should be okay as long as you give the CKF some cave or territory to stake.
 
I have 2 oscar 1 8 1 10 with 2 foot clown 2 foot aro redtailed shovel nose cat hybrid 4 large tin foil barbs a large bala and a large common pleco and they all get along fine
