anyone have any homemade remedies???

i'll start.i use neosporin for any cuts,burns,damage,amonia burns,etc....
i also found out that visine is effective when it comes to cloudeye/popeye/blurryeye,etc...
any other successful methods???

if a fish has a huge gash as a last resort I will net the fish and swab it the wound with iodine.
(in a hospital tank)
