I know this is a really random question. (I think this is the right place to post sorry if its not) I was looking around on YouTube and came across this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1ddhpyaHkI I thought this was crazy. I have never seen or even thought one of these fish could get this big, I now think this would be a amazing fish to have if you have the right sized tank of course. Anyone have any that are big or ever had any, if so please post a picture I would love to see them. (Almost looks like a carp)

I'm down to just one Bala shark now. Last one that died was 15" and 6 years old. The fish swimming is eating a mouse. They also love Brussels sprouts, massivor, and other sinking pellets.

That thing is a beast I have a new respect for the small ones in petsmart. How big of a tank is required to house a full grown Bala and how long does it take normally for them to reach these sizes.

I grew mine out in a 360 then moved them to a 450. I started with 5 about 6 years ago. Some died bashing their heads in the tank glass and the older ones I think are dying of old age. Down to just one now.

I have a baby only about 2 inches. Cant wait till mine gets that size! They are great fish defiantly worth the experience.

That's quite the unique collection of fish. One of the biggest bala sharks I've seen.
