Hi guys/gals, I am back with another request for the community, and unlike with the caecilians I actually have some idea as to what they are supposed to be XD.

Anyhow, my store was thinking of picking up a couple of Miratesta celebensis (this is what they are being called, honestly have no idea if this is true), and the source only supplies that they were " collected in freshwater with a PH of approximately 7.5 and a temperature of approximately 76-77". I was just wondering if anyone here had any more detailed info involving these snail?

Thanks: Justin

PS: I attached a picture using the attach button here.... honestly have no idea if it worked, so ya will provide link to pic if needed.

I honestly thought Miratesta celebensis was extinct, but apperently they are just on the red list... Once again, because of the huge lack of resources about them, I don't even know if these are celebensis...

They look like they could possibly be M. celebensis. I can't find any significant info on the web. Most likely due to the species being supposedly extinct since 1996.

Only info found is that this is a freshwater air-breathing (pulmonate) species of snail. They possess no operculum and are hermaphroditic. If their diet matches other pulmonates then feeding them algae wafers and green veggies should prove successful.

Looks like you have an opportunity in front of you in propagating this rare species.
