Anyone have experience with Cuban Cichlids?

Hey all I'm new to the forum. I have a question about my Cuban Cichlid I believe it is a male just want another opinion? Also any one from Ohio know where I can find these guys was thinking about breeding them. I got this one from a guy close to Akron but have since lost his number

How can you tell he is male? I would like to have that knowledge myself and thanks he is my pride and joy!!! He has the best personality charges at me whenever I go by his tank!

Males have lighter pattern and a much stronger body form as that one has with the decent nuchal hump

Females look like this. Not the best pic but you get the idea. They almost have a "beard" while the males patterns are more sparse.

I would check out rapps or gage at cichlid connection for more.cubans. You can find their information in the mfk vendor forum ur fish is beautiful btw.
