Super char powdered activated carbon

Its carbon for my vortex xl diatom . Im not sure of the quality of this carbon in regards to PH change and phosphate content. I like to use carbon to help remove heavy metals that come from the well water (and water polishing) . Thanks guys

It should work fast since because of it's particle size, it will have a high surface area to volume ratio. Can't speak to spectator phosphates and nitrates. Can you get a sample and test it?

Activated charcoal doesn't generally mess with pH or contain phosphates, do you have a reason to believe this particular brand will be any different?

Well , I am a matrix carbon fan as it states all carbon will contain amounts of phosphates (But matrix seems to leech the least) I was curious if this stuff would be any worse or better than the average carbon. Ill run some tests as its on its way.

how do you like the vortex xl diatom? Is it worth the money? filter well? last or clog too quick etc? I am looking to buy a few but trying to find some info on them 1st.thanks.
