Anyone have info on Jumbo Bee Cats?

Just bought A Bumble bee cat from Rapps. Cant really find info online about these guys. All i see is that it has a huge mouth and it loves to hide. I put him in yesterday and has been hiding ever since. Nice coloring though. It has yellow and brown mixed together. More on the brown side. Are these guys active predators at night like most other catfish? How big do they grow. I have an indoor pond in case of tremendous size. My RTC and TSN inhabit the pond now. A little info would be great>

Sounds like the Zungaro from Central or South America,nocturnal,gets to around eight inches.

Big mouths and appetites...my 7" one ate a 3" royal pleco...very impressive

wow. so 8 in is what they top out. I thought they get bigger. Mine is already like 8in. Huge mouth.

If it is the Zungaro then yeah it wont get much bigger than the size that yours already is.Get some pictures as soon as you can.

pics would be good, and yea there predators. i had a young pair at about an inch. my mollies that were in the tank with them had a couple batches of fry, about 150 total. next day, all the fry were gone and the bees were fat.
