Anyone have jags?

Anyone have any jags? Or kept them? Are they pretty interactive or do they hide all day. I've heard different opinions anyone?

been awhile but yes i've had them. They were fairly interactive for me and they loved their feeders .

i have a female jag paired with my male dovii.

Yeah, some start out being bold and some get bolder with age but hide a lot as juvis, pretty much like a lot of cichlids out there. They usually are very interactive fish and will be glass bangers depending on their tank size.
