Anyone have luck drilling a tank?

I've got a 150 g refugium tank that i wanted to add a drip system to. I thought maybe i could drill a hole for a bulkhead in the side of the tank to set my level. The level now is about 10 to 12 inches from the top.
Or does anyone have a different idea?

Forgot to mention it's a glass tank. About half in. Thick

We have drilled 6 so far. All about the right bit and also using cold water.

Thanks. Just saw a video on u tube.
Didn t look too hard. They used a high speed air drill and cold water. But i thought slow and easy was the way to go
