Anyone have one of these?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yeh they work. i dont personally use em as there an eyesore but meh there cool

They work for a while, until the reagent expires. The only problem is that you will have no noticable difference in the outside appearance so you won't know when I stops working. Plus, there is absolutely way to make sure they are calibrated. I have seen some that are spot on next to some that are off by 1-1.5 ppm.

Ok well it was a nice thought. I have a test kit that I use but I thought it would be nice to have something to just glance at. Just me being lazy! :grinno:

How often do you think you have to replace those?

Edit:
Just read the title lol/so if they work for a month just do a regular test with a master test kit at the end of 3 weeks and replace it if needed.

yeah, I'm still thinking about getting one they are cheap and as long as I test it will my kit every month I think it should be pretty useful.

I think I will buy one and try it out if for $10 you get one that monitors ammonia, ph and temperature all in one thats a good deal. And I have to order a few other things off of doctorsfostersmith anyway

Thanks, I will have to take a look at them. I just like having a quick reference to make me feel better.
