I was cruising around e-bay and came across this filter.

Odyssea cfs500 filter- 500gph/3 stage filter. Thinking about purchasing because the price is right but my fish are important to me(I don't want to buy junk).

There are a couple people that have them. If I remember correctly, they are just like the Marineland filters. I don't remember any complaints.

I'm in debate right now over a marineland 350 or going with the unknown(to me) e-bay filters. I love e-bay !!!! I needed to get some first hand experience with the products before purchase---I've fell victim to flashy e-bay adds before !!!
So should I go with marineland or the e-bay???????

I would go with the first one man. UV sterilizer and all! GPH was way above that other one as well.

ill go with the canister all the way they are awsome
i bought 2 marineland 350 from ebay, one of them is ok not as good as a canister and the other one after a month the propeller started to make noise i ck on ebay and a new propeller cost $28 as much as the filter itself.
go with canister YOU SET IT AND FORGET IT AND THEY WILL NEVER MAKE A NOISE and very low maintenance
