Anyone have Raphael cats?

I have a fake tree log, and I need it out. And the catfish will not come out of the log. He jammed homself in there and he only comes out when I'm sleep. Any suggestions?

I usually can pry him out using the back handle of my net, and he's none the worse for wear.

I once had to shatter my fake log to get mine out. I tried to play the waiting game an left the log out of the tank for a while but i thought he might die so i gave in. Best Bet is once you get it out get a new larger log or just a piece of slate/flat rock. So it can't wedge it's self in anymore

i have one as well. try lifting the log above water slowly and see if he comes out. that worked for me. or if your room is dark, throw sinking pellets/whatever he eats and keep all lights off. hell come out eventually. when you turn the lights on he should be frozen like mine does, not sure if your will do that. but if he does grab the log as fast as you can. those are my ideas man good luck

Thanks everyone, I have 2 huge 10 inch striped and 2 4 inch spotted, the spotted one was in the log, he is stubborn. I just put it in a different tank lol
