there are certain species that are more aggressive than others.. cobalt blues are pretty aggressive and would usually stand up and show their fangs to you when to disturb them..
rose hairs are pretty much docile and are the species most handled
i've kept my fair share of tarantulas', i've had a pink toe, rose hair, cobalt blue & venezuelan tiger.. the only one left with me is the rose hair, the other died after a couple of years probably because they are males
I had 29 tarantulas all at once. Most were babies. I had some mean ones- my favorite was my Sunburst Baboon. He flared up and showed his fangs alot. My pinktoes were the docile and I handled them alot. I had a few adults in my care- King Baboon mean mother ehh and a Indian Ornatmental.
I miss having them, I donated them to the zoo. A worthy cause
Not any more, had a skeleton legs that got a fungus and died, and more recently a blondi that was killed when the tank got knocked off a table by a kid and a dog. I ate the blondi, seared, they taste like shrimp.
