where do I start, Ok my 5 in indo was starting to get a bit agressive. He was stable, active and feeding on everything i put in the tank. He nipped ub my black aro and giraffe cat pretty bad. I had some ornaments in the tank for the cat and senegal to hide, but he just took them over. I decided to remove the ornaments...now he doesnt bother any fish in the tank, but he is very unstable, not eating as much, and kind of just hangs at the bottom of the tank. Should I just give him some time?? or should I put the ornaments back in the tank?

if you give any fish a place to defend he will defend it

Very true, especially if there are only a few hide spots or visual barriers. I've had the best luck with packing my tanks with lots of hide spots and large vertically oriented plants. I've had far less aggression with this approach.

Best of luck.

Try rearranging the tank a bit and make sure there are some visual barriers. There may be some aggression while he stakes his claim, but as long as there are multiple hide spots he won't have to defend it as aggressively.
