I used to have a set up like you're asking about but I had to remove the angels because they were slowly being biten to death by the others. It might work for you but it most certainly didn't work for me. I placed my angels in there own tank and they seem happier.
I have All three living togehter in a 55g. babies 1-2" each. they are growing out. i havent had any problems whatso ever. did u want to know something specific? i also have a festivum and baby convicts with them.
Just wanted to know how well they got along and how long people where keeping them together.
Thinking about doing a tank with Red severums chocalote chiclids and was looking for suggestions on what else to put in there.
Well ive had adult chocolates, severums and festivums together. they get along well with other peaceful cichlids. i currently have my babies with gymnogeophagus, some cories, catfish, convicts. i wouldnt keep them with anything overly aggressive or fins nippers. they arent the fastest swimming fish and are targets for fin nippers. What size tank were u going to keep them in?
I have my 220 in my signature: Chocolate, Long Fin Oscar, Flagtail, Convict, Firemouth, botia and Tinfoil's and they all get along fine. I'm growing out a fire eel in the 75 to go in also and got 2 super red severums coming in also to grow out for it.
Believe it or not the little 1" firemouth chases most lol. The oscar is the king of the tank though, but doesn't bother anything unless they try to get his food I have a few videos up in the video section if you wish to see them.
