My lfs has this cichlid on its list of fish but I'm pretty sure its not a valid name. Anyone know what it might actually be. They also have Conkelli cichlids which are actually pink fenestratus, so I'm questioning the actual name of the fish.
Anyone heard of a McLaneri Cichlid?

Maybe a typo or mistake. Maybe the person dictating the list said "minkleyi" cichlid. Meanwhile the person writing it heard 'mclaneri'
i dont know about the maclaneri but i think conkelli is the old name for the pink fene since im pretty sure Don Conkel is the one responsible for bringing then into the trade, probably just what they were called when still thought to be different from other fenes or something but i have heard them called that before
