My boyfriend picked up some of this aquaplus tap water conditioner. It says it removes chlorine and chloramine, neutralizes heavy metals and coats to protect and heal. I haven't used it yet or ever before? anything bad or special about it or is it similar to anyother chlorine remover?

Made by hagen? I use a product called aquaplus conditioner (i live in the UK). I changes from stress coat as that was getting expensive. Appears to do the job.

i didnt realise it wasnt out in the uk, im originally from uk now in canada and aquaplus is everywhere works perfectly well totally recommend it to you

I manage an LFS in memphis and i use Aquaplus on a regular basis for over 2500 gallons worth of freshwater tanks. I probablly have 15-20 gallons of the stuff right now and it works great. I prefer Stress Coat but it is a little pricey.

I have never seen it around here and I sell fish. I use and reccomend Prime though.

I have a jug of that for my big water changes.

I use stresscoat when I use a 5 gallon jug. I use aquaplus when it's time to put the hose in. Or I did until I bought a jug of API's "Tap Water Conditioner"

I use it and love it. I have pretty sensative fish, and they aren't affected by it in the least. Also heavily chlorinated water...can SMELL the chlorine...its bad...and I never have any problems as long as i use it. Trust it completely! ;)
