you can get flowerhorn, parrot fish, redtail-shovelnose etc hybrids...But I have never heard or seen a black/silver hybrid..Anyone know anything about that?

That is true. We rarely take them as hybrids but its true they are hybrids. But this is the full extent of hybrids with asian aros. We can say these hybrids are somewhat "known" by most to be pure strains now as they are bred with each other. For eg. high back golds are bred with each other instead of RTGs with cross backs as this would be too hard to control.
