maybe ill have better luck here, than i did on an actual racing forum. those guys were beyond rude and unhelpful, so ill hopefully find a few people thru the other boards i use.
looking to get into stock car racing and demo derby enduros at http://www.RiverheadRaceway.com next year. my 7 year old son got the idea into my head, and now HE wont leave me alone about daddy being a race car driver. so why not fulfill a boyhood dream at the demand of my kid
i have a bunch of questions however, since im not a gear head yet, and could use some advice and a push in the right direction from anyone who does or has raced in these classes. looking to most likely run 6 or 8 cyl in what they call "blunderbust" and "enduro and of coarse, STRAIGHT UP DEMO DERBY!!!
alot of what can and cant be done to the car in the rules, is basically japanese to me. im a driver, not a mechanic (yet)
