Anyone here from Maine?

Just wanted to see how many people here are from the Maine area, or perhaps New Brunswick, Canada? I live in Madawaska, Maine. It's a tiny town, the most Northern town in Maine. I live literally two minutes from the Canadian border and can cross in Edmundston, NB any time.

I am from seacoast NH area, living in the south right now but ill always consider myself a new englander. Had a lake house in maine and spent all my free time there, but not far up in maine.

I lived in Portland for around 10 years. Coached at USM. Have a cabin on sebago and spend some time during the summers up there.

Live in Olympia WA and Phoenix now. Those winters were wicked vicious bub!

When? Did you ever get to see the alewife run at Damariscotta Lake?

Portland is almost a suburb of Boston

Spotfin I was up there two or three years ago...Stayed at Camp Kieve which is right beside a section of that lake.I didn't get to see the run but I did kayak there,for the first time...awesome experience on that beautiful lake.

I've been by the camp a few times. Nice area.

I've only seen a few other folks on here from Maine. Most are long gone. Itsadeepbluesea is still around I think, maybe he will chime in.

I love how the Damariscotta has so many little islands that have cabins and shacks on them.
