anyone here keep pearl rays?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Here is a pic of mine, this was taken in June, it is now August and he has grown quite a bit since.

Male, less than 3 yrs old with small parents. I bought from Aquaman 45 and this is a really nice, active fish with a real character - for instance if I get a pot of food out he will make sucking noises on the bottom of the tank that can be heard on the other side of the room.

I keep him with a young Marbled Motoro pup in a 300 gal (UKgals, I think this is a bit more than US Galls) tank.

Very nice! anyone else? I'm interested in seeing different varieties since they are so varied in pattern.

Here are a few variations found in Pearl Rays, this is the reason i believe these rays will soon overtake black rays in the must have stakes....just my opinion.

I think it's great that people are now doing selective breeding for rays. Too bad their reproductive cycle is so long.

Actually its a good thing. Rays can live for 30 years or more.

If they bred like rats, the market would crash.
