I used to have a couple different baboons, an ornamental rainforest and a goliath tarantula. Also had a black emperor scorp.

I've seen a fair few scorpions around. Some emporor scorpions (3-4") in the dry areas of the country and Traansval scorpions closer by, these were around an inch each and only after catching them in test tubes did I find out they're extremely dangerous and I let them go. Don't keep any scorpions through, but I should have photos somewhere :)

Not currently, but my faves are tricolor burrowing scorps, tangerine and ornamental tarants, and of course whipscorpions!

does the desert hairy ever try to sting ? I kept those 2 before

john
Not really sometimes it does try to hit me with it's tail but it doesn't even use it's stinger just trying to push me away more so. I handle a good amount of desert hairy and Asian forest scorpions for work just by free handling them. So far I've never even had a close call.
