hello all....

i live in a sad world where i can only find 3 fish stores, all of which have nothing i am looking for and are the size of a bathroom.....

anyone live/heard/know/etc....of anything in beijing?

update on my search:

found a random forum and a supposedly superb fish market area about an hour from me....decided to venture out tomorrow....

will post pictures upon my return!

i heard there are common street stalls where vendors will sell gold fish and others etc. as well as a whole street area where all kinds of pets are sold.

hey man my dad lives in beijing and goes to a INSANE fish market in, i think its in guang dong. But will find out for you. Its like a HUGE warehouse type thing with loads of small fish shops.

ok, i found the mother load of fish....sorry i didn't take more pics of the true monsters they had there....but was too busy trying to get deals on plecos....

ok guys....so after months of trying to find a quality fish store - i found an absolute gold mine! imagine 50 quality LFSs packed into one building....well that is what we got here in beijing china!

PS - the BIG guy has a head that is literally bigger than mine.....it is said to be 10years old, and it costs 50,000 rmb (about 6,250 us dollars)

almost any plec you see could be had for about 20-30 bucks us .... without haggling that is.....probably a tad less with some wise words....

hey can you give us the address of that place? My dad has a place in beijing and is usually there. if you can type chinese thats fine. I can just copy and paste it to my dad.
