Anyone in upstate NY (around Albany) want to adopt?

I have a 14" silver thats fighting pretty bad with my other 14" to the point the one I grew from a little guy lays on the bottom, end swims around in circles around the other guy and all his fins are torn, missing scales etc. I called a local pet store and they said they dont have anything big enough to take him in.

if anyone within driving range wants a free 14" silver, let get back to me asap.

Sorry to hear, looks like another failure at a pair Unfortunately this only seems to work about once outa three tries.

Have you tried listing on craigslist?

well the fish is gone. Hurt my heart to bring him back to the pet store that I got him from 2 weeks ago. However, Atleast someone is going to have a healthier fish then when I got him. When I bought him 2 weeks ago, he had massive fin rot. When I dropped him off today, he had alot of new fin growth so he was on his way to a strong recovery. I just hope some kid with a small ass tank doesnt get him.

they were getting along great for about a week. Then within the last 2 days the one kinda snapped and beat up on my other guy pretty bad to the point he was scared of him. Hes in rough shape right now but well enough to heal up nicely.

He's already using the full tank to his advantage which is nice....with the other guy there he would only swim half way, turn around and swim back,
