Anyone Keep Ants?

i thought about it, but if i was id want a big farm, not the kid sets lol. i wounder if i could build one hmm.
i've been trying to get a queen and start a colony in a terrarium.... Fail after fail after fail... Still trying I'm mainly trying to get a Florida Harvester Queen.
I tried it. Had European Red Fire Ants Myrmica Rubra in a custom plaster of paris nest. Unfortunately it never really took off, and they eventually died off. I think I offered them too much food, and it molded in the nest before they could eat it.
Some of the Lasius species looked a little more simple to care for, just be careful you don't get any that can cause wood damage, because you will have escapes.
