Anyone keep pikes with rays?

I'm being offered a 12" lenticulata. I'm considering adding her to my 360 where I have a pair of motoros, and other fish. The rays are about 12-13" disc size.

I'm concerned she will beat on the rays. Anyone have any experience with pikes and rays?

Hello, I have a pair of Lenticulata at 10" in with one of my rays, a 14" male marble and all is fine but this does not mean yours will be.

I found it hard to feed the ray when I had them together, because the pikes would steal the food for the ray.

should be fine. i have a pair of xingu I with my rays... never had a problem

I have a pike with my rays. He does nip at them sometimes when they go in his hole. If you dont have too many structures, however, I dont see that happening.

I remember Kurt putting some pikes with that manitilla and they ended up lunch. Then again the pikes were only 6"

I have a 12-13 inch male Venezuela in my 240 with a 16+ inch female motoro and a 7 inch male hystrix.....he grew up with the female for the last year and they have never bothered with each other.....you should be OK!
