I know they are both in a guapote family but would a jag consider a sal a threat when fully grown? Anyone keep these together? What size tank if so? Currently i haven't been able to house them together they have it out for each other but the jag soon dominated and was removed. They were in a 75gal growout when this happened. I have a 200gallon waiting on all of them currently.

Fish include: 2 Oscars(albino & tiger oscar)
1 Jaguar
1 Salvinii
1 Poleni
1 Green Terror

i have a 4" male sal in a tank with a 9" male jag with 4 other tankmates and they're the only 2 that don't mess with eachother. 110 long.

I have a 13 inch Male jag and 6 inch Salvini in my community 240. No trouble.

ok , hmm hopefully they will play nice in my big tank. I'm currently running two emperor 400 bio filters with a marineland C530. Should be plenty filtration right ? I will be only keeping one of my oscars aswell. If the sal and jag don't work out ill probley make the 75gal a species only with salviniis.

This is good to know, because I might do some moving around of my fish. I would like to get a jag, but the only fish store around here only has 1" juvies. I dont think it would survive in a current tank. My sal could probly eat it.
