Saw a really nice 10"+ monster yesterday at my LFS and I'm thinking abt getting some juvies to raise and throw into a 240G eventually. Anyone here have any experience with them? Growth rates, feeding, care etc?
Anyone keep Syno Decora/us?

Cool cool. I really wanna know abt what to feed. And I've read that once really use to the tank they've been known to come out more often than not.
groth rate variable-ive got two-first one went from about 3 to 10 in in no time (a few months) the second is growing very slowly-normal cat food-all wet food and jmc pellets.
Eats everything. And very shy. Usually doesnt come out of his "flinstone" house until the lights are off. He looked very sad being alone so my g/f got him a lace catfish for a friend. Lace out grew the syno in under 6 months haha, he still tries to be by him when he can.
i have 2 that are about 6". mine are very slow growing, ive had them about 2yrs. very neat looking catfish. theyll eat anything and are pretty shy
J it's really weird for me to see u post abt catfish, I really can't imagine you w/ anything but cichla lmao no offense of course. Can you post pics of your dynamic duo if you can. Also what are you keeping yours with?
